Though New York fashion week is a couple of days away, Paris-based-label Vetements said don’t forget about LA, where they unveiled plans for a first of a kind open-to-public “Dry Cleaning” Pop-Up shop at Maxfield LA. You’ll be enclosed in one of the sickest windows displays ever where customers can shop the store for regular Vetements merchandise as well as a few limited-edition pieces created just for the event, plus a few pieces from next season that isn’t shipping till the end of the month.
Vetements creative director Demna Gvasalia spent days visiting different thrift stores for pieces that she could deconstruct and put together again for her window display. Gvasalia turned Maxfield’s corner window into a visual juggernaut filled with bags of vintage flea market clothing to one of the most eye dropping window displays ever!
This capsule capture a very 90’s vibes that are presented with vibrant colors. Vetements also incorporated some key collaborative products such as the 10-eye black leather boot made with Dr. Martens. Keys pieces to keep an eye on includes the emblazoned T-shirt and the elongated down jacket.
